On the afternoon of December 10, 2023, the fourth member (representative) conference of Liaoning Hotel and Catering Association was grandly held at Shenyang Xiyue Hotel. Guo Bin, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Commerce, Master Liu Jingxian, Honorary Chairman of the Celebrity Chef Committee of the China Hotel Association and Honorary Lifetime President of the Liaoning Hotel and Catering Association, Feng Yasai, Deputy Director of the Shenyang Municipal Commerce Bureau and other leaders, Jinan Xinzhan Exhibition Co., Ltd. / Cui Gang, general manager of Shenyang Xinzhan Exhibition Co., Ltd., attended the meeting as an invited guest . More than 500 member representatives from all provinces and cities attended the meeting.

The meeting comprehensively summarized the association's work, achievements and experiences over the past four years; deployed the association's important tasks for the next period of time, and elected the leadership team of the fourth council. Comrade Qi Ji was elected as president, and 38 comrades including Wang Hui and Wu Jianxin were elected as vice presidents. President Qi Ji proposed that Comrade Wang Hui be appointed as executive president, Comrade Wu Jianxin be appointed as secretary general; Comrade Zhang Baoxue be appointed as senior president, and Comrade Zhang Benteng be appointed as senior chief supervisor.

Deputy Director Guo Bin delivered an enthusiastic speech at the meeting. He fully affirmed the work of the association in the past four years and its achievements, and placed deep expectations on the new board of directors and leadership team. He emphasized: At present, the provincial party committee and government are deeply implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the symposium on promoting the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China in the new era, and striving to write a new chapter in the modernization of Liaoning with Chinese style. It is hoped that the new leadership team of the association will be determined to reform, be pragmatic and innovative, give full play to the association’s functions of industry management, industry coordination, industry guidance, industry service, and industry self-discipline, and lead everyone to continuously create a new situation for the development of Liaoning Hotel’s catering services and Liao cuisine industry. At the same time, he said that the Department of Commerce, as a functional department of the provincial government, will continue to strongly support the work of industry associations and promote the high-quality development of Liaoning’s hotel catering services in the new era.

In his speech, President Qi Ji emphasized the association's key tasks for next year. The new council of the association should be guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era under the leadership of the Provincial Department of Commerce, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs and other provincial departments, and serve the overall situation, the government, the industry, and the members as its purpose. Strengthen political construction and party building leadership, improve the association's political position; expand the association's appeal and social influence, and enhance the association's ability to participate in politics; inherit and promote the "old brand" of Liao cuisine, do more good things and practical things for the hotel and catering industry and enterprises in our province, build an association culture of "same path, common benefits, and similar hearts", further unify thoughts, gather strength, work hard, and work together to lead everyone to work together to promote the association's work in the new era and the high-quality development of Liaoning's hotel and catering services and Liao cuisine industry.
